Despite the fact that the new 2015 Camry features an aggressive Premium Athletic appearance, Toyota has not forgotten about the roots of the business sedan and has not rushed to abandon previous design achievements.
Key points of the new design approach are a more aggressive-looking false grille, as well as the presence of various air intakes in the front bumper in the Camry SE and XSE. Designers and developers have changed almost everything. The only thing that the hand of automobile “architects” did not touch was the roof. The Japanese company's cars differ depending on the market. In the US, the 2015 Toyota Camry will be available in two different versions and four trim levels.

The car cannot be called super-fast: it accelerates to 100 km/h in 10.4 seconds, and the top speed is 210 km/h. Probably the most significant change in technical characteristics was the reduction in fuel consumption to 7.2 liters per hundred kilometers in the combined cycle.
The improvements affected not only the engine. The car boasts many other “updates”. For example, memory of the position of seats, steering column and mirrors, heated windshield, automatic switching of lights from high to low, heated rear seats, and a blind spot tracking system.

Pros:
Gorgeous appearance that catches the eye. A spacious and comfortable interior in which three people feel comfortable even in the back seat. High quality build. Sound insulation is at a decent level. Low fuel consumption. Spacious trunk.

The quality of the plastic inserts is a bit disappointing. The backlight of the radio in the dark hurts the eyes, as it is too bright. High cost of maintenance and high cost of spare parts.
Can 10 million customers be wrong?
10.2 million units sold and about 6.6 of them are still used for their intended purpose, Camry has long become synonymous with the word “success”, but the best is the enemy of the good and there is no limit to development, so marketers are constantly looking for new ways that can raise the model to another level above and it seems the right option has been found.
Toyota executives heard the desires of consumers and, judging sensibly that at this stage for 3 years in the same “skin” it was somehow too much to remain a Camry and the soul required changes, they made another restyling.
According to Toyota, the eighth generation Camry differs from the previous one with more than 2,000 new parts and a huge number of new solutions.
In addition to the new design, a new trim level, XSE, has been added. The XSE is priced almost on par with another high-end model, the XLE. Both versions are available with a 178 hp engine. in 2.5L with 4 cylinders, the torque of which is 230 Nm. Consumption of a 2.5 liter engine: 9.4 liters/100 km in the city cycle and 6.7 on the highway. For many buyers, this version will be the most desirable, as it is a compromise between power and efficiency. For those who don’t care what fuel consumption the engine shows, the 3.5 liter V6 is more suitable. It already has 268 hp. and 335 Nm of torque. With such indicators, dynamism is guaranteed, 7.1 seconds to 100 km/h, top speed 210 km/h. Official consumption will increase to 11.2 l/100 km in the city and 7.6 l outside the city. Although, naturally, the actual consumption will be slightly higher than the factory one.
Both engines are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, ECT-i, with front-wheel drive in both versions.
For eco-conscious drivers, there is a third Camry Hybrid option. All model variants (except the Hybrid) are available in base LE trim, followed by SE with a sport package, XSE comes next and XLE finishes the list as the premium trim level of the model. In general, the car is conducive to measured movement, but this does not mean that it is not possible to suit your mood. 2.5 and especially 3.5 liter engines are very dynamic and easily allow you to move faster than the main stream. The suspension is also quite composed, and the electric power steering is reliable and transparent. The rolls could be less, but this is a price to pay for comfort.

The first thing you notice upon inspection is the new narrowed sports radiator grille. Along with it, the headlights, traditionally made in the shape of an elongated diamond, also received sharp outlines.
Two angular air intakes appeared at the bottom of the bumper. Their manufacturers installed them on the sides and a large recess in the bumper in the middle, which is also designed to emphasize the aggressive nature of the updated business class.
The dimensions remained the same, with the exception of the length, which was increased by 0.25 m. Ultimately, the length of the car is 4.85 m, width 1.825 m, height 1.48 m. Ground clearance is fixed at 0.16 m, and the wheelbase totals 2.775 m.
The volume of the luggage compartment - 506 liters - is not a bad indicator for a sedan, and among the people who personally carried out the inspection, the spaciousness of the luggage compartment was emphasized more than once.
Now, a little about the interior. To begin with, it should be said that having a relatively low price for a status business class car, this model is in many ways not inferior to its more expensive rivals, such as the Audi A6.
The driver's side features a nicely designed instrument panel, with a small 4.2-inch screen and two dials. These are followed by an interactive steering wheel with many functions.
The materials are pleasing with their quality, in particular, as the manufacturers assure, the sound insulation in this version of the Camry has improved significantly compared to the previous one.
Let's sum it up
We can confidently say that it was not in vain that so many people worked on the Toyota Camry 7 sedan 2015. The car turned out to be really better than the previous model. A new 2-liter engine appeared, it was possible to reduce fuel consumption without losing power. The appearance has become more aggressive and sporty, the optics make the car even more beautiful.
The interior of the cabin is simply attractive. I was pleased with the presence of a display on the instrument panel and on the center console, as well as the option of heating the windshield and wireless smartphone charging. There is enough headroom for both the driver and all passengers. For lovers of more dynamic driving, stronger power units are available.
