- Comfort . In this configuration, the crossover can have any of two engines, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a CVT or an automatic transmission. Its technical equipment will additionally include: fog lights, a rain sensor, an electric trunk, roof rails, bumpers in the color of the new body with a silver molding, a start button engine, faux leather trim for the upper part of the instrument and door panels, keyless entry, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, 2-zone climate control, 8-inch multimedia display, 18-inch wheels.
- Prestige . The package additionally includes: chrome door handles, a contactless trunk opening system, leather upholstery, heated rear seats, front parking sensors, 19-inch wheels.
- Prestige Safety . The most expensive equipment of the new Toyota Rav 4 2021 body, in addition to the above, includes: a 7-inch on-board computer display, front and side-view cameras, as well as a maximum set of electronic safety and motion control systems.
Interior
Car interior design is carried out by individual specialists. They choose a car that is beautiful on the outside and comfortable on the inside. The cabin accommodates the driver, passengers, and luggage. The volume depends on the size of the body.

The CD player has finally gone out of fashion - there is no slot for discs.
The steering column came from the previous model. In expensive trim levels, electrically adjustable seats are installed.
The interior trim is of high quality, but leather is not available in the Rav4 2021 interior. Soft-touch materials on the inside of the doors and dashboard provide a pleasant experience for the driver and passengers.
Review of the new body
The current version of the Toyota Rav 4 2021 uses the universal TNGA-K platform, on which a body made of high-strength steel is installed. The suspension has a classic architecture with MacPherson struts and a multi-link, brakes are disc, steering is rack and pinion with electric power assistance.
Exterior
The change of generations has given the Japanese crossover a more brutal new body, emphasizing the “off-road” nature of the model. An abundance of unpainted plastic in the area of the sills, wheel arches and in the lower part of the bumpers, plus a huge central air intake, larger in size than the radiator grille - in the new look of the Toyota Rav 4 2021 one can see aggression, which is further reinforced by the embossed sidewalls and “predatory” optics, clearly borrowed from older models of the Japanese concern.
The designers tried to give the appearance of the Rafik more status, and they succeeded; moreover, the compact SUV did not forget to once again slightly increase its size: the body length of the Toyota Rav 4 2021 model year is 4600 mm. with a wheelbase of 2690 mm. and increased to 195 mm. ground clearance.
Salon
Following the new body, the interior of the Japanese SUV has noticeably changed and become prettier. On the front panel you can still find physical keys, although the proportion of touch controls has increased noticeably. A striking innovation is the new display of the Enture 3.0 multimedia system (7” or 8”), under which there are a pair of air ducts and a new “microclimate” panel.
The design of the multifunction steering wheel has changed slightly, but the instrumentation has retained analogue dials, between which the engineers managed to install a fairly large on-board computer screen (from 4 to 7 inches in diameter).
Serious work has been done in terms of seat ergonomics. They have become more comfortable, and the rear sofa will now comfortably accommodate three passengers of average build.
Technical stuffing
Following the status of a global model, the 2021 Toyota Rav 4 can boast of a fairly extensive range of power plants, but in the case of Russian-assembled crossovers, you will have to choose between modifications with two Dynamic Force series gasoline engines and two “boxes”:
- volume 2.0 liters, power 150 l. s., 206 Nm of torque + 6-speed manual transmission or CVT;
- volume 2.5 liters, power 200 l. s., 243 Nm of torque + 8-automatic transmission.
The Japanese have once again improved their Direct Shift-CVT variator, and now it will use fixed mechanical first and reverse gears.

As for the all-wheel drive system, as before, cheap versions of the Toyota Rav 4 2021 SUV will have a Dynamic Torque Control AWD unit, which connects the rear axle when the front wheels slip, and in expensive versions, permanent all-wheel drive will be provided by clutches (Dynamic system Torque Vectoring AWD).
Appearance

- Adventure – for active tourism and sports. It features a reinforced rear body kit with a reflector and wheel arch extensions. The “off-road” look is given by unpainted plastic arch linings and roof rails.
The wheel arches in both versions have lost their roundness.
The lower glass line has dropped noticeably, and there is an impressive protective element on the rear bumper. Exhaust gases are discharged through chrome-plated pipes.
The modernized car received a strong hexagonal radiator protection grille with original lamellas. The rear part of the body is raised.
The head optics have become narrower, and the headlights at the stern are large.
