Once you try to sharply twist the car into a turn, you will no longer want to do it forever. To begin with, Venza will seem to ignore the control impulse, then sit down on the front outer wheel, and only then will the very maneuver that you planned an eternity ago begin. Nightmare? On the one hand, yes. But don't forget - we're in a family car. She doesn’t need heightened reactions, stiffness of the suspension and the embrace of hard-stone chairs - in case her mother-in-law gets seasick!

Engineers claim that adaptation to Russian conditions does not imply changes in character - only the strength of individual chassis components will increase to repel the attacks of domestic potholes. The overall feeling should remain the same - a rather imposing, but very comfortable car.

At a steady pace, the sound of the 2.7 engine wanders on the edge of audibility, very rarely crossing it. Under full throttle, the cabin is filled with a quiet but confident bass sound, quite pleasant for a four-cylinder engine. It's a pity that the acceleration dynamics cannot match him. The power of 187 forces is enough to feel normal in a calm rhythm of movement, no matter on the highway or in the city. But if you need sharp accelerations, especially from medium speeds, you shouldn’t expect a miracle.
