Toyota Corolla, the Japanese representative of the C-class compact cars in the budget segment, presented a new 12th generation sedan on the Russian market in 2021. The model is considered the most popular in the world - according to sales results over the entire production period, about 50 million Corolla cars in various modifications were sold. The achievement is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the best-selling passenger car in the history of the automotive industry.
In Russia, Corolla has also held the first position in popularity in the golf class for ten years. At the end of 2019, segment C is the leader in the entire Toyota model range, following large SUVs, crossovers and business sedans.

Special reinforced racks are also installed, which add rigidity and increase ground clearance by up to 2 centimeters.

- Use a jack to lift the rear beam and remove the wheels;

- The upper mounting nut of the shock absorber is unscrewed;
- The fasteners are unscrewed from the trunk side;
- The stand is removed and the springs are clamped with a vice or using special pullers;
- The rod of the shock absorber is unscrewed, after which the strut is disassembled;
- A spacer is installed;
- The rack is being assembled and installed.

A new Corolla will not appear in Russia any time soon. It is unlikely that the hatchback will come to Russia at all, and the sedan has not yet been presented. Plus, for Russia, additional adaptation is needed - the Era Glonass system instead of DCM, increased ground clearance, washer reservoir capacity and other little things, as well as omnivorous engines.
