Therefore, the 1.8 “eats” no more than the 1.6 - the average consumption, taking into account traffic jams, was 8.2 l/100 km. Moreover, 1.8, according to Toyota representatives, can be “fed” with AI-92 gasoline. Nice bonus!

So the Corolla didn't become faster, but it became quieter
