TOYOTA COROLLA AXIO is the 10th anniversary generation of COROLLA brand cars, with which the company celebrated the 40th anniversary of this model. The model belongs to the class of compact runabouts, which is so popular in the modern world. The sedan car was first shown in 2006 and was intended for the Japanese market. The station wagon is called the COROLLA FEILDER. Here in Russia, COROLLA enjoys truly national love.

The TOYOTA COROLLA brand car is positioned all over the world as an inexpensive and practical compact class family sedan. Indeed, it is difficult to find a more successful and recognizable car. With modest dimensions and simplicity of form, the designers managed to achieve the main thing, comfort and safety of passengers at a minimal price. Tuning a Toyota Fielder car

All motorists know the Toyota Corolla Fielder. They characterize it as an ordinary station wagon for trips to the country. But not many people know that there is a powerful version with a 2 zz-ge engine and 192 horsepower. This is a rather rare configuration with a souped-up engine; it was produced only in the first generation Toyota Corolla Fielder. Obviously, the very event that destroyed the desire of engineers to make powerful versions of popular models had not yet occurred.

The tuning did not really change the appearance of the Toyota Fielder from other trim levels, except that the body kit could give off a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” Although there is some aggressiveness in the car. It’s as if a fast engine charges the whole car with its spirit.

But, be that as it may, this car is still a Corolla with small dimensions, a high urban seating position, inexpensive finishing materials and a confident Japanese status. Although the regular Corolla sedan did not have a powerful package. That is, tuning was not used in all Corolla sedan models. Sedans were content with a maximum of 137 horsepower engine.

There is also an innovative VVTL-i valve timing system. Thanks to it, when accelerating, you get a feeling similar to turning on Honda's VTEC. Of course, these engines of a later release were more reliable; the Japanese generally react quickly to detected deficiencies.

The engine shows very good dynamics in combination with a six-speed manual transmission. Together with the gearbox, this aluminum engine weighs just over one hundred kilograms. We also did tuning of the automatic transmission. Having installed a forced engine, the company's engineers left a simple suspension. The interior equipment is also standard, nothing surprising.

You should immediately note the softness of the clutch pedal; the release bearing moves using a hydraulic drive. The clutch engages clearly. The travel of the gearshift lever is quite large. External tuning

In addition, it is possible to increase the maximum engine power. There are three ways to do this:

Transmission modernization can be accomplished by improving the mechanical gears on the path from the flywheel to the chassis. The main object of tuning here, of course, is the gearbox. With the right gearbox, even a weak engine can develop significant power.
