Toyota Camry 40 stabilizer: signs of malfunction and replacement

Faults in a car's suspension can cause knocking, squeaking, breakdowns, loss of stability when cornering and many other problems. Any of the possible manifestations of breakdowns, first of all, negatively affects the safety of operation.

Only diagnostics on a special stand or visual inspection will help identify a faulty chassis part. In the Toyota Camry 40, the most common cause of a dull knock or squeaking noise in the front or rear suspension is wear on the stabilizer bushings.

Stabilizers are responsible for car stability in turns and when maneuvering, redistributing axle loads between the wheels. It is thanks to the bushings with which the stabilizer is attached to the subframe that vibrations of the suspension and wheels are dampened.

Stabilizer bushings for Toyota Camry 40: replacement

Such bushings.
I also replaced them with original ones and they began to creak. I just threw it away, put the original back and others. They were worn down in a year, really. I spat - I bought the cheapest ones, for 150 rubles, they run great, but in cold weather they also start to creak. Today I went to the pit, unscrewed it, smeared it with a little lithol, put it back together, the squeaks disappeared. The stabilizer bushings do not work to twist, the main thing is that the stabilizer does not dangle in them, so lubricant is not harmful in this case. What will happen if it dangles? I don't know if it is loose or not; the bushings could have holes of a larger diameter. The previous ones, when they were changed two years ago, they were in some kind of white henna, like paraffin, today I took the original, they are just black rubber. I took the front ones today, also in white garbage, but I ordered them, they don’t creak.

Why are you confusing people :). just for twisting, because rubber works by its structure just by twisting and does not slip in the plane of contact, because 3 km and everything has worn out and squeaks!! and lithol at 25 km and again. There are also articles with smaller diameter bushings just for worn stub rods. stop fooling people's heads
