Tuning 1.6 3ZZ-FE is not capable of giving the car owner a noticeable increase in the power of the power plant, since the sporting component was not taken into account during its production. Installing the compressor on the factory piston system and using AI-98 gasoline will give an output of 150 hp.

The same rule applies to tuning the 2.0 1AZ-FE, however, in the case of such a power unit there is the possibility of an expensive conversion to 2.4 volume. Using a compressor according to the above scheme will provide the 2.0 1AZ-FE unit with no more than 200 hp.

In the case of tuning 1.8 1ZZ-FE, using a compressor will give 200 hp. Using a turbine, replacing injectors, installing forged connecting rods and pistons will significantly increase the gain - up to 300 hp.

Relatively affordable turbo kits, an exhaust on a two and a half inch pipe and precise tuning give the 1.8 2ZR-FE 250-300 hp. However, they significantly reduce the endurance and service life of the power plant.
