Removing and installing the outer rear door handle
You will need: flat and Phillips blade screwdrivers, TORX T30 wrench. 1. Lift the glass up. 2. Remove the rear door trim and moisture-proof film (see Removing and installing the rear door trim). 3. Remove the rear door lock (see Removing and installing the rear door lock).
4. Using a T30 TORX key, through the lock opening, remove the screw securing the rear door outside handle plug.
5. Carefully, so as not to damage the paintwork, pry it off with a screwdriver...
6. ...and remove the rear door outside handle cap...
7. ...as well as the rear sealing gasket located underneath.
8. Slide the handle back and towards you...
10. Through the upper technological opening of the inner door panel, using a T30 TORX key, remove the screw securing the outer door handle bracket...
11. ...and remove the front seal from the outside of the rear door.
12. Through the upper opening of the inner door panel, remove the rear door outer handle bracket.
13. Install the rear door outside handle and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
