Camry won't start even though the starter turns
Experts recommend checking all relays and fuses in case of such a breakdown. It would also be useful to ring the wires, especially if you have the appropriate device. After all, the Camry may not start not because of the fuses, but because of the wiring that goes to them. On Camry 40 this is a common problem, look for the problem in the wires going to the fuse box under the hood.

If the suspicions are confirmed, then there are 2 ways to fix the problem. First, when the connections are oxidized, they need to be cleaned. The second, more acceptable option is to replace the wiring entirely or in sections. If the fuses are blown, they also need to be replaced.
In addition, the Camry 40 will not start:
- when the fuel level is insufficient;
- if the fuel pump and fuel pump relay are faulty;
- due to lack of spark;
- if there is a blockage in the fuel supply system.

Most of the problems are related to fuel. If there is insufficient pressure in the fuel supply system, it does not enter the engine. The power unit will neither work nor start on an empty stomach. Poor fuel supply may be caused by a faulty fuel pump. Sometimes a slight blockage of this mechanism leads to problems with starting the engine. The operation of the fuel pump can be heard, if there is no characteristic noise, the reason is in the fuel pump.
When everything is fine with the fuel supply, it is recommended to check the spark plugs. These parts are responsible for the presence of a spark for combustion of the mixture in the internal combustion engine. The spark plug does not want to work due to contamination with low-grade fuels and lubricants or wear.

It is not possible to visually determine the performance of spark plugs, unless we talk about extreme wear.
However, the indicated malfunctions are not all the reasons why the Toyota Camry does not start. In addition to the battery, starter, and generator, there are a lot of components and mechanisms that affect starting the engine.
I welcome everyone to my blog, there is nothing special to write about the service, because... everything is standard... I installed autostart in the standard key (works with 2 keys), the chip was not made. The standard security system is operational. When running, it works without key access.

Autorun installation sequence
The principle of connecting the automatic start module of the power unit is as follows. First of all, the wires are unsoldered from the ignition switch, thanks to which the 50th engine is started. This should be done carefully, trying not to lean on the holes existing in the steering wheel with working tools, in order to prevent damage to its casing. After this, the main wires coming from the autostart system are connected to the ignition. In this case, you should use the diagram specified in the instructions.
If the car is standardly equipped with an immobilizer, you will have to spend a little money on purchasing an additional “crawler” (a module designed to insert an additional ignition key). This will allow you to read information from it and transmit it directly to the ignition.
Now you should connect the autostart control wire to the tachometer of the car of modification 50, the generator or the oil sensor and program the unit in full accordance with the instructions. To be able to urgently disable this system, you should extend an additional wire from the module to the hand or main brake. This procedure completes the installation of the autostart module on the Camry 40. As can be seen from the description, it does not require huge investments and physical strength. You just need to think a little about electronics.

Low battery
After the car has been idle for a long time, problems arise with starting the engine. The reason for this phenomenon is a discharged Camry battery. After all, even in the garage, motorists prefer to leave the alarm system and devices responsible for storing electronic options working.
When your Camry won't start, the first thing you should do is check the working condition of the battery. For these purposes, a multimeter is used - a device that will help measure battery voltage. Normal readings should be at least 12.0 Volts. But if the car has been sitting for a week, then due to current losses this figure decreases.
Operating conditions stipulate that if the Toyota Camry battery voltage is less than 11.7, then there may be problems starting the engine. At such indicators, it is recommended to recharge the battery.
If the Toyota has been parked for one night in cold weather, then it would be a good idea to check the terminals for oxidation and clean them if necessary. The ground wire requires close attention.

Other reasons
All wiring has been checked, connections and terminals have been cleaned, and voltage supply devices work like clockwork. But the Toyota Camry does not start, or the starter spins for a long time before starting. This is an indicator of insufficient engine compression or a broken flow meter. You should also check the fuel pump and air supply system.
If the Toyota Camry engine stalls when you press the gas pedal, then the reason is a faulty fuel supply system. And when the engine starts but runs unevenly, it means the reason is in the ignition coil, spark plugs or idle air control.
But it happens that the engine starts and then stops. The motorist should check the low pressure fuel pump and immobilizer. If a warm Camry engine does not start, the reason lies in a broken lambda probe, air leaks, problems with compression and the camshaft sensor.
