Toyota Corolla tires and wheels: parameters, markings, wheel bolt pattern

Choosing the right wheel rims for a car means taking into account all the parameters of tire sizes, rims and fasteners, which have their own specifications depending on the model, year of manufacture, types of body and engine configurations. The Toyota Corolla in the 120th body was produced from 2003 to 2008 in different versions for the American and European markets: each new generation had its own differences in the chassis and was equipped with petrol and diesel units of different power.

In addition to technical parameters and dimensions, when choosing wheels, you should take into account the type of materials from which they are made - the characteristics of the material also affect the quality of operation of the wheels and suspension units.

Expert advice

When choosing tires for a car, you must first follow the manufacturer's instructions. Ask yourself a few questions.

  • On what roads will the car be primarily used?
  • Do you need increased cross-country ability?
  • How much of the route will be city roads and how much will be highways?
  • Will the vehicle carry heavy loads?

The answers to these and similar questions will help determine which tire parameters you need to pay special attention to.

How to choose the right wheels for Toyota Corolla 2007?

3 types of rims:

  • Stamped (economical price category) - made from a sheet of iron by stamping on a press.
  • Light alloy - manufactured by casting (more reliable than stamped ones).
  • Forged (the highest quality and more expensive than the previous ones) - made from light alloys by stamping at high temperatures.

The choice depends on financial capabilities. However, it should be borne in mind that the quality of the road surface on which you have to drive every day must also be taken into account.

So, if it gets into a hole, a stamped disk will bend and will not cause harm to the tire, but a forged or cast one can cut it. There is a possibility that the cast disc may burst or crack.

It should also be noted that repairing “stamping” wheels is cheaper than repairing cast or forged wheels. But wheels with high-quality cast and forged disks kill the suspension less, because lighter and have more perfect geometry (better balanced).

The same wheels may or may not rub with tires on the same car - wheel alignment adjustment will help here.

What is the tire pressure?

It is the driver's responsibility to constantly monitor tire pressure. This will avoid standard problems associated with vehicle operation. An abnormal pressure value often causes:

  • deterioration of management;
  • uneven tread wear.

Often the car owner independently reduces the pressure in the wheels of his own vehicle. This reduces the load on the suspension, and the car “passes” various road irregularities an order of magnitude easier. But it is worth noting: a decrease in pressure even by 0.1 MPa leads to serious problems. The main ones include:

  • increased fuel consumption;
  • rapid wear of the outer tread segments;
  • the car becomes less maneuverable.

An overinflated wheel causes no less problems. The central part of the cylinder begins to wear off quickly. In addition, at ambient temperatures of more than 60 degrees Celsius, the tire may simply explode. Which will lead to driving into the oncoming lane.

How to spot a fake

Despite the high quality, as well as production control, sometimes you can find negative reviews about Advics pads on the Internet. The most common reason for this is the use of counterfeit products. This is quite easy to find in stores.

And it’s also easy to distinguish it from the original

When purchasing, you need to pay attention to the following:

  • packaging quality;
  • presence of instructions inside in English and Russian - well printed;
  • lack of polyethylene on the pads themselves.

None Inside there must be instructions in Russian and English. Moreover, if the font is difficult to read, then again it is most likely a fake. Real pads made in Japan are never sealed in cellophane.

Wheels for Toyota Corolla (Toyota Corolla)

For a long period, vehicle owners had the opportunity to provide their car only with large and bulky stamped wheels, which were not disappointing with their design. Fortunately, today the situation has changed significantly, and customers are presented with a wide range of discs from different manufacturers and different designs. Models have appeared that are distinguished by their low weight with high levels of strength, reliability and long service life. One of the most preferred solutions in terms of design, strength and lightness are alloy wheels.

They are made from high-quality aluminum alloys, which are resistant to moisture, light weight and a variety of design solutions. They are not restored when damaged, but are one of the most popular.

Today we presented a wide range of aluminum rims for Toyota Corolla from various manufacturers. However, it should be remembered that when choosing disk products, you should definitely follow the factory recommendations regarding the radius of the disks.

Selecting too large or small disks that do not meet the recommendations will lead to negative results:

  • fuel consumption increases significantly;
  • the wear rate of the suspension increases;
  • maneuverability and controllability deteriorate.

We offer to select disks automatically using our catalog. The selection of these elements is made based on many factors, including:

  • mounting diameter, which must completely coincide with the inner radius of the tire;
  • the number of holes for installation, as well as their diameter - the disk designation system must match that specified in the vehicle’s operating manual;
  • wheel offset - the distance from the wheel mount to the symmetrical plane. If the wheel is wide with a short offset, then this gives the car additional stability and design, but increases the load on the hubs;
  • rim width indicators - it determines riding comfort and speed.

To select the appropriate wheel size, you just need to select the model and year of manufacture of the car. The system itself will select the most suitable disks according to these characteristics. If you have any questions, you can contact the support service - our employees will provide the most comprehensive information, as well as assistance in selecting the right equipment.

Types of materials

There are five main types of car wheel materials:

  • Stamped standard wheels are standard and are installed on almost all cars as standard. They are made of steel, are heavy, have the same shape and appearance (their design is usually complemented by decorative caps). The advantages of stamping are low cost and maintainability: in case of mechanical damage, they can be completely restored.
  • Cast ones are a more expensive option compared to stamped ones. The material used is light alloy, the most common being aluminum. Thanks to casting technology, their design can be varied, while aluminum wheels retain a high strength rating. The weight of such a disk is on average 20% less than that of a stamped steel one, so the load on the wheel and chassis of the car is significantly reduced. Among the disadvantages, fragility is noted upon strong impact: the functionality of a damaged cast disk can only be partially restored by cold welding.
  • Forged wheels are the most durable and reliable wheels. They are made from solid metal by hot forging - the product is balanced with high characteristics of resistance to stress and corrosion. The cost of forged wheels is three to four times higher than standard ones, however, their service life is almost unlimited.
  • Composite - such materials in the manufacture of automobile wheels are used for premium sports brands, where it is necessary to withstand heavy loads at high speeds. The price of composite materials is high and can be ten times higher than the standard price for forged wheels; the technical characteristics allow them to be installed on racing cars, but it makes no sense to equip them with production cars.
  • Composite discs are the most expensive and combine different materials due to their special design. Various design elements of the type-setting disk are of an image nature; their design can be very diverse and is made to order on an individual basis. At the same time, titanium alloys and composite materials are quite functional and reliable. Types of dial wheels are used in car tuning.

The choice of the type of material for wheel rims on a Toyota Corolla depends entirely on the preferences of the owner: if the car is not subject to deep tuning, then most owners choose the budget option of installing simple alloy wheels, which corresponds to its class.

Tire pressure for Toyota Corolla

Toyota Corolla is one of the most popular cars not only from Toyota, but throughout the entire automotive world. This car became a real bestseller and sold between 13 and 17 million copies.

pieces, depending on the count. The car is famous for its quality and price.

Toyota has proven that a good car with the same performance and design can cost relatively little money.

Corolla represents the C-class of cars, which are small-sized and subcompact city cars. Today it is available with several engine options:

  • DOHC, 16-valve Dual VVT-i, 4-cylinder, in-line / 1.33-liter gasoline with a power of 99 hp. on a 6-speed manual transmission;
  • DOHC, 16-valve Dual VVT-i, 4-cylinder, in-line / 1.6-liter gasoline with a power of 120 hp. on a 6-speed manual transmission;
  • DOHC, 16-valve Dual VVT-i, 4-cylinder, in-line / 1.6-liter gasoline with a power of 120 hp. with variator;
  • DOHC, 16-valve Dual VVT-i, 4-cylinder, in-line / 1.8-liter gasoline with a power of 140 hp. with variator;
  • Diesel from 155 hp up to 175 hp with an engine capacity of 2.0 liters./li>

The smooth ride of the car is ensured by the McPherson front independent suspension and rear beam from Toyota developers. The car sits on 15-inch wheels, which maintain a tire pressure of 1.8 to 2.2 bar for a smooth and safe ride.

Tire pressure is one of the most important components of a good and safe ride. Normal pressure should be maintained in the range of 1.7 to 1.8 bar in the front tires and 1.9-2.0 bar in the rear.

These data are valid when the car is loaded with three people and a maximum of 170 kilograms of cargo at speeds up to 160 km.

When driving faster, you should increase the tire pressure by 0.1 bar for every additional 10 km/h.

With a maximum load of Corolla for 4 people and approximately 600 kg of cargo, it is necessary to maintain pressure at 2.0-2.1 bar in the front tires and 2.2-2.3 bar in the rear.

This data is valid for the above versions of a car with a manual transmission; if your Corolla has an automatic transmission or a CVT, it is worth increasing the tire pressure by 0.2 bar from the standard parameters. This is due to the fact that both gearboxes place a large load on the front suspension.

Advice: if it is important for you to keep the suspension in good condition, fuel economy is significant and gentle handling is important, increase the tire pressure by 0.3 bar from the standard parameters recommended above. The problem of a sudden decrease in tire pressure may indicate problems with the wheel as a whole or damage to the wheel from a nail or a piece of glass

The first problem occurs when the spool is faulty, the second when the wheel is pierced by a sharp object without remaining in the body of the tire

The problem of a sudden decrease in tire pressure may indicate problems with the wheel as a whole or damage to the wheel from a nail or a piece of glass. The first problem occurs when the spool is faulty, the second when the wheel is punctured by a sharp object without remaining in the body of the tire.

In order to avoid problems with the suspension in the future and to avoid accidents with skidding or poor braking distance due to tires, you should check the pressure every 2-4 weeks. If a visual inspection shows a reduced pressure level, inspect the wheel; if no breaks are found, pump it up. If the tire pressure is below the established norm of 1.7 bar after a few hours, go to a service station.

Note: on cold tires the pressure is slightly lower by about 0.1-0.2 bar, when driving the pressure increases by 0.3-0.4 bar due to faster air circulation, based on this you should not panic when the pressure is not warm tires will be 0.1-0.15 bar lower.

It is worth understanding that correct, good tire pressure affects fuel consumption and your safety, because driving on tires with reduced pressure is several times more difficult and dangerous, because the braking distance and acceleration speed are reduced.

How to identify your consumer

At the very beginning, you should decide on two main questions: what is being sold and to whom.

What – product, service or complex. It is not recommended to immediately take the plunge and withdraw 500 SKUs. It is much safer to start with a small but well-balanced product portfolio.

After all, a new market and new products are something that the consumer has never tried. The buyer needs to recognize the need, get used to it, get acquainted with the brand and have the first customer experience.

For business, this is the time of the first wave of collecting feedback from consumers about the brand and products, because the first impression cannot be made twice. It is recommended to start with the must-have assortment, that is, with those SKUs that are 100% necessary in the assortment. For example, the segment of wireless solutions (smart home) can be successfully started with 6 SKUs: two types of smart video cameras, three sensors and a smart socket.

A global example of such a product launch model is Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic empire KYLIE COSMETICS. The enterprising younger sister of the Kardashian-Jenner clan began to instill love for her brand with one product - a matte lipstick + pencil set, which became a bestseller. Later, the brand’s product portfolio included eyeliners, eye shadows, blushes, powders and much more. In 2021, Kylie is the youngest member of the Forbes list among highly paid stars under 30 years old with an annual income of $41 million.

Today, customers are the main asset of a business. An important and responsible stage is the precise determination of the target audience (TA) of the brand and its characteristics. A mistake here, as at the positioning stage, is almost fatal.

You should not skimp on choosing a quality agency that will do a detailed study of your target audience. It is necessary to clearly and in detail segment the audience, identify the core, determine what needs and “pains” each segment has, what is the motivation for consumption, what values will the client receive if he uses the product.

The Russian market, especially FMCG, presents one big failure in defining the target audience. The famous brand sells candies in the middle price segment and sales are not going well. The product manager improved the quality of the packaging and increased the price, thus reorienting the product to a different target audience, and sales increased. At the same time, the consumer properties of the sweets have not changed. There is no need to be afraid to put forward theories and test them; on the contrary, you should “dig” the audience.

It is important to understand the geography of future sales, because the product values for consumers in Kaliningrad and Tatarstan may be completely different, and this will require adjustments in the communication strategy depending on the sales region. Therefore, the target audience must be developed taking into account the future geography of the brand’s presence

Quantitative and qualitative research indicators will provide the basis for planning purchase and sales volumes, geography of sales offices, and development of a marketing strategy

Therefore, the target audience must be worked out taking into account the future geography of the brand’s presence. Quantitative and qualitative research indicators will provide the basis for planning purchase and sales volumes, geography of sales offices, and development of a marketing strategy.

Learning to read tire and wheel markings

For example, consider the designation printed on the tires of the IX generation Toyota Corolla: 205/55 R16 91V.

The tire is of radial design (the designation contains the letter R), 205 mm wide. The ratio of height to width is 55%. To calculate the parameter, you need to multiply the width by 0.55. In this example, the tire height is 112.75 mm.

Wheel rim – 16 inches. Some people mistakenly believe that the letter R stands for radius and read the parameter "P15" or "P16" as a 15 or 16 inch radius. In reality, R with a numerical value is the diameter.

Tire and wheel markings

The tire index is 91, that is, each axle of the car should carry no more than 615 kg. Speed class – V – the tire is designed for driving at speeds of 240 km/h and above. The numerical values of tire coefficients and speed classes for Toyota Corolla tires are given in Tables 1 and 2.

Table 2. Explanation of speed classes

On the Corolla disc you can find a code of the form: 6Jx16 ET 45 4x100 d54.1. Let's decipher all the parameters. The rim width is 6 inches, the disc diameter is 16 inches. The letters “Jx” encode the design features of the disk. The number of mounting holes is 4, their centers are located on an imaginary circle d100 mm. Disc offset (ET45) is 45 mm, the abbreviation ET means that the value is measured in millimeters. The last number (54.1) indicates the diameter of the hole in the center of the disk in millimeters.

Wheels for Toyota Camry

Toyota Camry has been represented for several generations. However, now only the 4th generation and above are relevant. 1, 2, 3 series are practically not used and are not visible on the roads.

For the 4th generation Camry, which was produced from 1994 to 2001, the factory recommends installing 15 or 16 radius wheels. In this case, the bolt pattern should be 5/114.3. Reach – 6x15 ET 45.

For the 5th generation (2001-2006), rims with the same standard sizes are suitable, but you can choose a larger offset.

Generation 6 and above have an almost identical platform and impeccable design. It is already possible to install models with a larger radius on them. 15 here look inconspicuous, since the body has become larger in appearance.

  • The factory specifies 16-18 wheels.
  • Bolt pattern, like other generations - 5/114.3,
  • Reach – 7x17 ET 45 or 6.5x16 ET 45.

Bolts for Toyota Camry should be used with a diameter of 60.1 mm. In terms of design, wheels for Toyota Camry are presented in a wide range, you can choose the most suitable ones, the main thing is that there is no discrepancy with the recommended parameters.

Using the recommended tire sizes will help you avoid problems with handling, safety and other difficulties. What non-standard sizes can be supplied? Refer to the table; it indicates possible acceptable alternative sizes for tuning. Although there are other options that we have not described in the table. For example, wider discs of the same diameter. Or install wheels of the same width, but with a larger diameter, which is quite popular among car owners. The choice of discs is huge; you can find copies with the same parameters, but with an overhang 1-2 millimeters more or less. It is not possible to list all the options.

At the same time, the bolt pattern for all types of wheels is the same - 4x100. Thus, all disks are mounted with four bolts and the distance between them is exactly one hundred millimeters. The car's hub diameter is 54.1 mm.

Standard tire pressure is 2.2 MPa.

Practical recommendations

The choice of tires is associated with determining specifications, sizes and pricing policies. Toyota Corolla is a budget car. Therefore, the middle price segment allows the buyer to choose middle or economy class tires.

As a rule, tire widths have the following values: 175, 195, 205 and 215, in combination with profiles: 70, 60, 55, and 40, as well as diameters: 14, 15, 16 and 17. This indicator determines the unique tire size of each type.

Important! The manufacturer has set the tire pressure indicator for all types of tires, which is 2.2 atm.

In addition to the standard size, tires differ in the season of operation. According to this indicator, tires are presented as winter, summer and universal. To ensure resistance to high temperatures, hard rubber is used to produce summer tires.

For winter with harsh climatic conditions, tires are made of soft rubber. Summer and winter tires differ in shape, tread depth, and the presence of studs. When purchasing products for cars, it is necessary to take into account the seasonal characteristics of operation: frost, snow, ice in winter and heat, water, dirt in summer. However, to improve vehicle handling within the season, summer and winter tires are also equipped with treads with different patterns.

Tire pressure

The most optimal pressure for Toyota Corolla among car enthusiasts is considered to be 2.2 atm. However, this value should vary depending on the speed and tire size. Front pressure for models 1997 - 2002 by 0.1 atm. should be smaller than the back.

For R16 pressure depending on speed is recommended:

  • 2.2 atm. up to 160 km. h,
  • 2.5 atm. more than 160 km.h.

Toyota Corolla wheel bolt pattern

The bolt pattern shows the location of the bolts securing the wheel to the hub, the number of bolts and the dimensions of the hole for the hub.

The standard Corolla bolt pattern is 5 x 100 with an offset of 35...38 and a hole diameter for the wheel hub of 54.0 mm. The bolt pattern parameters must be taken into account when changing the wheel group, since other models often use a different bolt pattern. These parameters are always indicated in the technical data sheet.

Wheel sizes and tires for Corolla E180

Beautiful Corolla - Picture

E180 wheels

The bolt pattern on a Toyota Corolla is a design feature of the wheel rim, which ensures its attachment to the car hub. It consists of several holes located along its inner diameter. These holes then accommodate the hub studs.

Along with the term razboltovka, the term sverdlovka is also used. The pattern of bolting and drilling is determined by the diameter of the circle, as well as the number of holes. Bolt bolt marking takes both parameters into account.

Thus, the Sverdlovsk Toyota Corolla modification E 180 has the formula 5x114.3. Here the number 5 shows the number of holes, and 114.3. diameter of the circle in millimeters. However, the drilling formula is only part of the complete marking. This is what the full markings of the E 180 model look like - 6.5JxR16 ET45 5x114.3.

To understand all the components of the marking, it is necessary to describe what the numbers and letters in the disk size mean. Here is its transcript:

  • The number 6.5 shows the width in inches, and the J symbol contains information about the shape of the rim flanges. The shape of the flanges matters when installing tires.
  • In the abbreviation R16, the letter symbol R encodes the shape of the disk design. In all the Corolla models discussed here, it is radial. This means that the spokes run along the radius of the wheel. The number 16 indicates its diameter, also in inches. This parameter determines the disk sizes.
  • The disc offset parameter is encrypted in the symbols and numbers of ET45. Its value is equal to the distance between the plane with which it is pressed against the hub and the cross-sectional plane. The ET45 marking shows an offset of 45 mm.

White Corolla 180 on flashy wheels
The Toyota Corolla manufacturer supplies high-quality alloy wheels. But for motorists, this detail is also an element of car decoration. Their selection is huge, since the market for this product is unusually developed. However, we must always remember that deviations from the factory parameters: weight and dimensions may be fraught with undesirable consequences.

11th generation Corolla tires

The wheel type mentioned above (6.5JxR16 ET45) corresponds to the Toyota tire size marked 205-55 R16 91V. But to read this, you need to decipher the numbers and letters in the tire size designation.

Compliance is indicated by their common parameter R16, which indicates the diameter of the tire rim. An error occurs when this marking parameter is taken as the radius of the tire. The tire marking radius parameter does not exist.

Stock Corolla E180 looks great

The numbers 205 and 55 contain information about the width in millimeters, as well as the tire profile in%. The profile is the quotient of the width divided by the height of the tire, expressed as a percentage.

The last three characters of 91V encode the load and speed indices. The load index (91 units) shows the level of maximum permissible load on one wheel. Knowing the load index, you can use a special table to determine its actual value. Here the value of 91 units corresponds to 670 kg. V – speed index shows the maximum permissible driving speed for a given tire. Its meaning is also deciphered using a special table.

Wheels and tires of the Toyota Corolla E 180 are supplied in two versions, in addition to the one already discussed, these are also wheels marked 7JxR17 ET50 5x114.3, as well as tires 215-45 ZR17 87W. From the markings we can say that they are larger than the previous ones, their width is already 7 inches and the rim diameter is 17 inches.

And finally, the recommended tire pressure for Toyota Corolla is 2.3 atm. However, this value should vary depending on the speed of movement.

Models of alloy wheels WSP Italy for Toyota cars

The predecessor company to Toyota Motor Corporation arose when the Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, a loom manufacturer, established an automobile division in 1933.

The first engine was assembled literally immediately, followed by the first A1 passenger car and the G1 truck in 1935.

To an independent company, Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. the company separated in 1937.

After the war in 1947, mass production of passenger cars of the SA model began.

10 years later, Toyota Crown begins exporting to America (the first Japanese car in the USA).

In the 70s, new factories were built, developments were carried out and technical improvements were introduced, thanks to which budget models became more and more “advanced”. Celica, Sprinter, Carina, Tercel, Mark II models are entering the market.

In 1982, Toyota Motor Corporation was formed and production of the Toyota Camry began. In the 80s, Toyota established itself as the largest Japanese auto manufacturer, ranking third in terms of production volumes in the world.

2007 was a landmark year for Toyota Motor - for the first time the company produced and sold more cars than the auto giant General Motors. In 2012, Toyota managed to repeat its success, overtaking Volkswagen and General Motors.

The secret of Toyota's success was the company's own development - the Toyota Production System, which allowed the brand to produce excellent cars at an affordable price, setting new quality standards.

Now other manufacturers are trying to organize something similar in view of the results that Toyota has achieved: the brand has more than once received the title of “The most expensive automobile brand in the world” in several ratings at once.

Even the owner of a car of the “most expensive brand” does not want to overpay in vain, and WSP Italy provides such an opportunity - replica Toyota wheels satisfy all customer requests for quality at an affordable price! Replica Toyota alloy wheels are suitable for Toyota Auris, Avensis, Aygo, Camry, Carina, Celica, Chaser, Corolla, Land Cruiser, MR 2, Paseo, Picnic, Previa, Prius, RAV 4, Starlet, Supra, Tercel, Yaris, 4 Runner , Hilux and their modifications.

What is the wheel pattern on the 2007 Toyota Avensis and Land Cruiser 200

The mid-size Toyota Avensis passenger car and the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 SUV are outwardly very similar cars. Moreover, their rims have five holes for bolts and are similar in appearance. Below are the wheel bolt patterns for these two vehicles.

The 2007 Avensis and Land Cruiser 200 cars have bolt patterns of 5x100 and 5x150, respectively. The disc offset on the Avensis ranges from 35 to 38 mm, on the Land Cruiser - 40 mm.

What are the differences

The dimensions and parameters of the wheel rims of these two models have a significant difference. These bolt sizes differ in the following parameters:

  • the diameter of the circle on which the bolts are located - for Avensis 100 mm, for Land Cruiser 200 150 mm;
  • disc offset - 40 mm for Land Cruiser and 35 for Avensis;
  • diameter of the central hole.

What is the width of the rim for 205 tires?

Wheel sizes

Today, everyone is used to saying in stores when buying only the make of the car and the diameter, like the Toyota Corolla R16. However, such a designation does not actually convey any other information about the wheels of the car.

For example, the basic configuration of the Corolla 150th model 1.4 MT 2008 has R15 wheels. The disk designation is as follows: ET45 6JxR15 5×114.3. The tires also have this parameter: 91H 195/65R15. Each of the codes carries certain information about the car’s disks:

  • ET45 – disc offset. This parameter is the same for the entire Corolla line. For example, the 150 model has an offset of 45, while cars with a 120 body were equipped with an offset in the range from 33 to 38.
  • 6xJ – shape of the flanges of disc rims. Similar to the offset, it is the same for all cars of the same generation. The width is indicated in front of it, measured in inches. It varies from 6 to 7.5.
  • R15 is the most famous wheel rim parameter. It indicates the type of part and its diameter, respectively. The first indicator indicates the shape of the structure: regarding Corolla wheels, starting from the 120 model, it is invariably radial (the spokes run like the radius of the circle of the disk).
  • 5x114.3 – number of slots for screwing the disk to the base. Depending on the ]wheel[/anchor], the number may vary, but usually it does not exceed 5–7 holes.

As for tires, there are a number of different parameters:

91H – maximum permissible loads. Here two parameters are combined: maximum speed and stability. The first indicator is indicated by the letters T (up to 190 km/h), H (up to 210 km/h), V (up to 240 km/h).

It’s not worth looking for a higher figure, since the Corolla, whatever one may say, does not accelerate to 270 km/h. 91 – load index. In this case, it corresponds to a permissible load of 615 kg, although there are more resistant rubber on the market.

Regarding wider wheels, it is worth saying that in the Corolla world they are usually used on advanced trim levels. However, 16-inch wheels can be seen on the 160 model with a 1.4-liter diesel unit in 2012. For it, as well as for versions of the machine with a similar disk diameter, the following wheel sizes are characteristic: ET45 6.5JxR16 5x114.3 and 91V 205/55R16, respectively.

Wheel sizes for Toyota Corolla

In recent generations, the Corolla has become very similar to the Camry, but in a shortened version. However, because of this, it did not become more crowded inside.

As for wheels for Toyota Corolla, there are not many variations here. Models with the same parameters are suitable for all generations:

  • For 16 disks, the relevant parameters are 6.5x16 ET 45.
  • For 17 inches - 8x17 ET 40, but the offset can be increased to 42.
  • It is better to choose 15 inches with indicators 6x15 ET 39.
  • If you like 18 wheel rims, then you should choose from those with parameters 7.5x18 ET 32.

The bolt pattern should be 5/114.3, but depending on the configuration it can be 4/100. This needs to be checked.

Choosing wheels for Corolla

With beautiful wheels, even an unassuming car will look its best, and even more so an elegant car like a Corolla. We offer an overview of the original models, which today can be found in most specialized stores.

We will focus on the most popular 16-inch size with a 5*114.3 drill bit and a 60-inch hub.

Replica Concept-TY548 GM

These discs are produced under the Chinese brand LegeArtis, and are separated into a separate Replica Concept line, which reproduces the original models of more famous brands. That is, a Replica is usually a copy made in China, Taiwan or Turkey.

Note: a copy is not so bad if it is made with high quality: the disks have the correct geometry, there are no deviations from the specified parameters, and the coating can withstand standard operating conditions without problems.

By choosing such wheels instead of the stamped iron on which the car comes from the factory, the car owner does not lose the warranty - after all, these are originals.

TY 548 is an elegant multi-spoke model. The wheels are presented by the manufacturer in three color options: rich gray (you see it in the photo), as well as in light and dark silver tones.

They look very interesting on Toyotas of the last two generations, the main thing is to choose the right color for the car.

Replay TY160

Replay - just like Replica, is a copy. It is quite difficult to find in domestic stores the prototypes from which the picture was “painted”, but even if you find it, you are unlikely to be pleased with their price.

Note: if you pay 6,800 rubles for one such disc in radius 17, then, for example, the German model AEZ Raise, with a similar design and the same paint option (GMF), already costs 11,500 rubles.

There may be a difference in their quality (mainly it concerns weight and front covering), but few people would like to pay almost twice as much for it.

KiK da Vinci

The model with the beautiful name “da Vinci” and an equally pleasant design is the brainchild of our Russian enterprise (Krasnoyarsk), which has long and firmly won its place in the friendly ranks of car wheel manufacturers.

The model is offered in as many as 9 paint options, from white (wenge) to black with polishing (diamond-mat). And what pleases motorists most of all is the adequate price tag in the range of 6-6.5 thousand rubles. per piece in the 17th radius, and 4700-5200 in the 16th.

OZ Racing Ego

OZ Racing is an Italian company with a half-century history, which has representative offices both in some European countries and in Asia (Japan and Malaysia). So it’s not a fact that the discs you see on display came from Italy.

However, their price in any case will be European, at least 11,000 rubles. True, for this money you will get an elegant design with a web of thin knitting needles, in one of the most favorite paint options among car enthusiasts - black with polishing.

BBS CH

The German company BBS is one of the most famous manufacturers of car wheels in the world. The model featured here features an elegant design and high-quality finish, with color options including brushed titanium, satin black and rich silver.

It has a lower weight compared to any copy, and the highest cost of the entire list presented.

Alcasta M30

Alcasta is a Chinese company that produces a good range of discs in terms of price and quality. They comply with both international standards and are certified in Russia.

These wheels are supplied to many factories in Asia, from whose assembly lines the cars themselves (including Toyota) come off the assembly line, so in some trim levels you can buy a car not using stampings, but using this kind of casting. Models, of course, may be different.

ENKEI Kojin

ENKEI is one of the oldest Japanese brands. This company produces wheels of the highest quality, using the so-called “forged” technology, which was originally developed to provide strong and reliable rims for sports cars and aircraft landing gear.

Note: This does not mean that the discs are forged from ferrous metal.

Light aluminum alloys are also used here, but using an original technology that allows the metal to withstand impact loads (to a certain extent, of course), which is comparable to the strength of forging.

In addition to Japan itself, discs under this brand are manufactured in 4 more Asian countries - Malaysia, China, Thailand and Taiwan.

Scud Venice

Here is one of the most interesting models of another Russian, and also Krasnoyarsk SCAD plant. If certain types of design solutions are present in almost all manufacturers, then Venice is unlike anything else and is very recognizable.

It is available in six paint options, so you can choose the right one for a Toyota of any color.

IFree Big Byz

The iFree brand is a new line of disks from the well-known Russian manufacturer KiK. They are in high demand due to the excellent quality guaranteed by the factory and their reduced weight.

The cost is especially pleasing (just above 5,000 rubles). There are 4 color options: ice, neo-classic, black jack and high-way.

Yokatta Model-27

Safe trips are made by the presence of an ABS system and brake force distribution, high-quality airbags, and disc brakes. The Terra package also includes wheels of the appropriate type and size, heated side mirrors, steering column adjustment, and a remote central locking control system. An anti-theft system will protect your car from theft.
