The basic version (2 liters) with a driven front and a 6-speed manual transmission accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 10.1 seconds, and the average fuel consumption per hundred kilometers is 7.6 liters. The version with a CVT promises acceleration in 11.0-11.2 seconds, and gasoline consumption will be about 7.3-7.4 liters per hundred kilometers. The maximum speed promised by the manufacturer is 180 km/h.

The new Toyota RAV4 2021 was presented at the New York Auto Show 2018.
